Consider a scenario where you have a credit card and bank account connected to Walbux. You charge $100 worth of goods to your credit card over the course of a week, and each of these transactions has been synced to Walbux successfully. You have already categorized these transactions as Dinner, New Socks, etc.
Now you login to your credit card online account, make a $100 payment from your bank account to your credit card, and -- oh no! This now shows as a $100 expense in Walbux, which means Walbux is counting the $100 twice!
This is where the Credit Payoff tag comes into play.
Step 1 - Open the Tag Selector for the transaction, then click Credit Payoff*.
A list of your credit books will now appear in a dropdown.
Step 2 - Select the credit book that Walbux should apply this payment to. Click Save.
You may need to refresh the page to see the effect on your balance.
PRO TIP: Create a rule to automatically apply this Credit Payoff tag to transactions of the same name, and you’ll never need to tag them manually again.
