Apply the Anomalies tag to transactions that are far outside your typical spending behavior. Some areas of Walbux offer a dropdown to Include/Exclude Anomalies, which lets you easily toggle between your true financial averages and your averages excluding anomalies.
This tag is often useful after treating yourself to the occasional splurge, but it can be used on income transactions too - such as if somebody writes you a jumbo check for a holiday and you don’t want that to skew your income average.
You can tell Walbux to exclude entire months from your averages by going to Settings > Miscellaneous > Month Exclusions. Transactions from these months will not factor into monthly/daily/weekly averages throughout Walbux, regardless of whether you have the Anomalies dropdown set to Include/Exclude.
I might use this to offset an unemployed period, or to base averages off of when I started my current job if it came with a significant pay difference.
